Injunctions
A wife and her mother consulted Lynn Wallis about the husband’s violence. The wife had tolerated some abuse but was not prepared to allow him to be violent towards her elderly mother, who lived with them.
Lynn prepared injunction applications for each party, for the wife within matrimonial proceedings and for the mother in stand alone proceedings. They went to court that afternoon without notice to the husband and obtained orders that he should not harass, pester or molest them. Two days later, the husband having been given notice, orders were made that he should vacate the marital home.
In cases such as this, it can be very important to take urgent action to protect you and your family.
