Barry Jameson

Barry Jameson is an employment law specialist with some 30 years of experience in this field behind him. For the last 10 years of these he has specialised in this area of the law exclusively.

He joined the practice in Newbury in 2004 to be closer to home. For the previous 4 years, he set up and expanded the employment law department of a central London 13 partner practice in Holborn, where he was a partner for some 30 years.

Barry has extensive expertise in both contentious and non-contentious employment issues dealing with complex problems for both employers and employees. These range from extensive Tribunal work, negotiating exit packages for directors and senior management to helping to structure reorganisation or redundancy schemes for all types of businesses and SMEs to charities, housing associations and government bodies.

Barry also has considerable experience in providing seminars and teach-ins for employer clients on important topics in this rapidly changing area of the law emphasising the practical effect whenever possible.

Barry also coordinates the Employment Law Group's marketing and business development. He is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
